We were so lucky to find Childhood Expressions through another parent at my daughter’s EarlyON drop-in. The entire staff at Pegasus is amazing and they were welcoming and reassuring from day one. Being able to bring my laptop and work onsite was a game-changer. As an anxious parent, it put me at ease to see how naturally they were able to connect with my daughter and meet her at her level. There was also support for kids with allergies and those not fully potty trained.
We never had a single day where she didn’t want to go to school. She genuinely loved her teachers and greeted them with hugs every morning. The teachers connected with each child individually, getting to really know them and treat them with value and importance. They facilitated social interaction with so much patience and understanding, and handled big feelings with not only expertise, but genuine care. I especially loved how hands-on the teachers were, actively playing with them in the way that kids crave, building forts and getting in cardboard box trains with them!
Every day there were new activities that my daughter would excitedly tell me about on the walk home: circle time, storytelling, creative dancing and art. It has been wonderful to watch my daughter’s creativity and confidence flourish. She has a sense of self-value and takes pride in her creations, showing off her art portfolio every month and telling me about each piece.
Childhood Expressions was the perfect stepping stone to prepare my daughter for kindergarten. Her social skills and ability to follow along in a structured environment have grown so much in the last year. We’re so grateful that this experience will always be a beautiful chapter in her life. - Theresa, Parent
